Terms of service.

PAYMENT:  Registration is accepted on the web, in person, or by phone. Registrations must be received before class begins. The following payments are accepted: Cash, major CC and PayPal

CLASS and STUDIO TIME REFUNDS:  A full refund (minus $20 processing fee) will be given when registrant withdraws from class 8 or more days prior to first class session. If class cancellation happens with a 7-5 day notice, a 50% percent refund, less $20 processing fee, will be given. There are no refunds 24 hours before class or after class has started. There are no refunds or credit for missed classes.

Punch cards are non-refundable and do not expire.

Studio monthly memberships may be pro-rated for the first of the month only and must be pre-approved. Pro-rated month does not include clay; clay and firing fees are separate for the pro-rated month. No refunds or credits are given for unused studio time. If you cancel an unused studio membership in writing, to carrie@gailanna.com or in person ONLY, within 5 days of purchase, you will receive a 50% refund less a $20 administration fee. 

CANCELLATIONS: GAILANNA POTTERY reserves the right to cancel any class when there is insufficient enrollment. Registrants will be notified as late as the night before first class session and will receive a full refund within 30 days.

INCLEMENT WEATHER OR EMERGENCY CLOSINGS: Due to inclement weather or an emergency, GAILANNA POTTERY will announce the cancellation of classes on Facebook/Instagram and/or will send email or phone call to participants.  While this rarely happens, there will be no make-up class scheduled. We will do our best to offer one make up session if this should occur.

Make -Up Classes: Gailanna Pottery does not make up a class if a student has to miss one. You may attend another class time if there is room and it must be approved.  No other alternative times will be carried forward unto the next sessions.

MATERIALS: Students are required to purchase their own supplies. A materials list will be provided at registration and is also available on the GAILANNA POTTERY website. GAILANNA POTTERY does not reimburse for unused clay. Any remaining clay at the end of a session where a student is not taking the next class session is either taken with the them or donated back to the studio. Passing clay to current students is not allowed.

FACULTY SUBSTITUTIONS:  GAILANNA POTTERY may find it necessary to substitute faculty at any time during the class term.  This may happen without notice.

PROMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY: GAILANNA POTTERY reserves the right to photograph activities that occur on its premises. This includes students in class and student artwork for use in GAILANNA POTTERY’s promotional materials. Please notify the instructor or GAILANNA POTTERY staff in advance of the start of class if this is a concern.

PERSONAL ITEMS:  GAILANNA POTTERY is not responsible for personal items left in the classroom or artwork not picked up by the second week following the end of class.
